The company "Pax Agrar" dates from 1956 and in its part of the pig farm has capacity of 22,000 fattening pigs per year, 1,000 sows, fodder factory of capacity of 15 million kilos per year, 100 hectares of its own land,, the hotel "Plaza" , mineral water producing sector, as well as 16 retail stores and own slaughter in the stable.
The farm is enclosed within which are located facilities for breeding, prebreeding, pigging place, and nursery facilities for the accommodation of the parent flock. The parent flock has 1000 sows, there are from 7,000 to 7,500 fattening pigs. The raising phase is continuous, about 3,500 pigs, of which 2,000 to 2,500 are suckling.
Farm has its own veterinary service "Veterinar" that operates within the company. Laboratory in the Veterinary Services is equipped for artificial insemination. The evident progress is made in the production process for the last years. The parent flock has been reduced compared to the period before denationalization with 1,500 to 1,000 heads of cattle and the number of sold fattening pigs increased. In 2008 , 24,000 finishing pigs were sold, that is for 3,000 more than in 2004 .
Slaughterhouse is located in Pojate, equipped by all standards and norms.
