In the 1986, Slobodan and Slobodanka Pajic established a small self-catering shop, from which the present PAJIC Company Group comes from.
Developing this self-catering shop in 1994 the company re-registered in PAJA KOMERC . The main activity of the company becomes, in addition to catering, the slaughter of cattle in their own slaughterhouse in Mirilovac and selling fresh meat at Nemanjina Street in Paracin.
The company is slowly developing, advancing, and it adds to existing activities the production of smoked products in the domestic way.
The discount retail moves to the center of Paracin in 1996. At this location two years later, it starts selling its own-filled products under the brand PAX, as well as consumer goods. A modern fast food restaurant, PAX,was opened in the center of Paracin in 2000.
In 2003, the PAJA KOMERC opens the most modern market by then, made in the center of Paracin. PAX supermarket has a wide selection of over 7,000 items of consumer goods, as well as the widest range of own brand products PAX.
Constantly striving to wide ranging and better offer, as well as controlled-quality products, in 2006, PAJA KOMERC bought a majority part in the farm AD "Varvarinsko field" - PAX-AGRAR (farm, slaughterhouse and factory fodder) in Varvarin. In this way it provided a constant and high quality raw materials of first quality finishing pigs 25,000 per annum and 1,300 sows of basic herd of the best race, 400 cattle and 100,000 chickens per year.
In 2007 The PAJA KOMERC re-registered in PAJIC COMPANY GROUP and became a stable family owned company with over 200 staff of employees, increased by young heirs, sons,with Aca Pajic, an economist, and with a technologist Sasa Pajic.
The same year PAJIC COMPANY GROUP began with the opening of the meat discount and meat products throughout the country, operating under the related party,, PAX TRAFFIC ". The total number of such discounts is 22 and can be found from Dimitrovgrad, Pirot ,Nis and Babusnica over Kursumlija, Prokuplje, Blace, Bor, Paracin, Cuprija, Jagodina, Krusevac, Smederevo, Belgrade to Sremska Mitrovica. These objects are generally from 40 to 60 m2 big.
Except this type of meat discount , we have 11 supermarkets of surface area of 200 to 500 m2, which also operate from related parties PAX MARKET. Markets are in Paracin, Nis, Aleksinac, Krusevac, Varvarin, Cicevac and Kragujevac.
On 9th March 2009, a new object of PAX MEAT INDUSTRY was opened and it produces over 100 different products. The object has a capacity of 8,000 tons per year and it passed the procedure for introduction of ISO 9001 and HACC standards.
The object is certified 25th February,2011 for the standards ISO 14000 and ISO 22000 and it only confirms our determination to find the quality of our products in the first place.
The surface of this object is 2500 m2, and we currently work on the extension of the same and its extension for another 2500 m2. Upgrading the object, we would increase capacity for the production of durable goods, and for making ready meals in cans, and for preparation of meats and meat pate in cans, as an essential precondition for export to the Russian Federation.
Currently Pajic Company Group . employs over 300 staff, and has its products on the market of Serbia and Bosnia. In September of the 2011, a contract with the distributor for the market of Moscow and the Russian Federation is signed.
The section for drying fruit was put into operation in Varvarin, in 2011, and it operates as a branch of the Company Group Pajic - PAX FRUIT. In the same building, there is a section for the production of preserves, jams, marmalades and aivar using the local recipes.
